World-renowned museums, music, amazing architecture and more! With Vermont’s Choice Hotels you’ll be a stone’s throw away from it all. Take a peek at the cultural attractions the state of Vermont offers.

In Northern Vermont

This museum was opened in 1891 by a wealthy philanthropist and industrialist of relation to the inventor of the platform scale. Its aim is, generally, somewhat aimless, yet quite noble: the museum seeks to simply ‘educate.’ Guests will revel in the resulting enlightenment, as a diversity of knowledge abounds at the Fairbanks museum. Guests to Vermont can bolster their brains with public programs, events, and even a planetarium.

Visitors to the Shelburne museum will be delighted with the distinctive array of exhibits and activities which await you both in and outdoors. A vastness is uncompromised at this Vermont destination, as the museum encompasses 39 exhibit-wielding buildings, 6 authentic period houses, a real lighthouse, steam locomotive, and more, including an operating vintage carousel. Cross a covered bridge and visit a general store before boarding the steamboat Ticonderoga. After experiencing a day through antiquated eyes, you’ll want to head indoors for some massive acculturation before the art works of Impressionist masters and great American artists.
